Cindy Lamb, Congregational Care Pastor

Pastor Cindy Lamb joined the Springs First pastoral team in June 2005. She oversees the ministry areas of prayer, compassion, pastoral care, and Prime Time adults. She loves to share Christ and His hope with others, and to challenge people to use their talents, abilities, and spiritual gifts for the glory of God. Her greatest ministry passions are prayer, evangelism, and Christian writing.

Pastor Cindy lived her life in Indiana prior to moving to Colorado Springs. She helped begin a Christian outreach ministry in her hometown and was the executive director for five years.

In her spare time, you’ll find Pastor Cindy reading, listening to music, enjoying a cup of coffee with friends, or spending time with her son, Jordan, and daughter-in-law, Elisha. One of her favorite sayings to quote is, “Don’t tell God how big your mountains are; tell the mountains how BIG YOUR GOD IS!” Two books that God has used profoundly in her life are: "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire" by Pastor Jim Cymbala of The Brooklyn Tabernacle, and "Radical" by Pastor David Platt of The Church at Brook Hills. Pastor Cindy's favorite hymn is, "Near to the Heart of God." It reminds her that it's the only true way to live the abundant life! Another favorite song is, "Final Destination" by This Hope. The song paints a picture of the PERFECT PLACE where Christians are traveling to - OUR ETERNAL HOME! Proverbs 3:5-6 has been especially significant and meaningful in her life. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
