Jerry Scroggins is originally from Torrance California. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene College (now University) with a degree in Biology. Jerry also has a Master’s in Business Administration.

After graduation, Jerry was commissioned as a second lieutenant and pursued a career in the United States Air Force. Jerry performed duties as an instructor pilot, personal officer, inspector General and squadron commander. After retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, Jerry moved to Colorado Springs to fly for United Airlines.

While attending Springs First Church in 2003, Jerry received a call to full time ministry. Jerry was ordained a Deacon in the Church of the Nazarene in 2007.

Jerry is married to Linda who he met at Point Loma College. He has two sons David and Jeff.
